Now booking fall slots, starting in October! Book a call

Start with a standout homepage. Grow when you're ready.

Most of my clients earn their business by reputation. So a website has two jobs. When someone passes along your name and they look you up, what they find should make them want to call. And when someone searches for what you do, you should be there to find. I build for the first and lay the foundation for the second. We start with one standout homepage and add only as far as you actually need, and you work directly with me from the first call to launch day.

The Standout Homepage

$5,000

Built in two weeks — guaranteed

One rich, conversion-focused homepage that turns the people looking you up into booked calls.

  • A strategy session to get clear on your story: who you help, what you do, and why clients choose you
  • All the copywriting, written from that story
  • Custom design built to look like you, not a template

  • A findability foundation: a site built to rank for your name and your town, with a clean structure Google can read. Plus a contact form or booking link so people can reach you
  • I get you live, then it's yours: a walkthrough, editing access for small changes, and full ownership with no lock-in
  • Your first three months of care after launch: hosting, monitoring, and updates, on me

From kickoff to launch, with two rounds of revisions along the way.

No agency overhead. No surprises.

  • Months of back-and-forth
  • Account managers and handoffs
  • Overhead baked into every invoice
  • Scope creep and surprise costs
  • Homepage built in two weeks
  • One person, start to finish
  • One clear price
  • Yours at launch, no lock-in

Built to be found.

Every homepage ships on a foundation built to rank for your name and your town, and to give Google a clean site to work with: structure, speed, titles that say what you do and where, and a site map Google can actually read. Three of my clients went from page two to the top three on that foundation and regular upkeep. No ranking campaign.

Included in every buildNo campaign required

Findable by name and by town, on a site that loads fast on a phone. That's the foundation, and the care plan keeps it healthy.

Need more than that? I don't run ongoing campaigns, but I have a partner who does, and I'll introduce you on the first call.

Not ready for the full build?

Start with a Messaging Session. It's week one of every homepage, on its own. We spend a working session getting your story straight: who you help, what they're up against, why they choose you, and what you want them to do next. Then I write it up as your messaging doc, a short document you'll actually use: on your site (even if you build it somewhere else), in proposals, on social, and the next time someone asks what you do.

The Messaging Session$1,500

One working session, then your messaging doc: the line to say first, who you're for, what's at stake for them, the plan you offer, and the exact words for your homepage. Yours to keep. Some clients stop here and run with it. Others come back for the build.

If you keep going, the full $1,500 counts toward your homepage. Starting with the strategy costs you nothing extra.

Beyond the homepage

Most people start with the homepage, then grow from there. When you're ready, we look at your goals and what your live homepage is telling us (what people click, what they ask about, where they get stuck) and add the pages that earn their place. You only build what moves you forward.

  • Additional pages

About, Services, Work, or whatever your goals call for.

    $1,000 each
  • Brand identity

A logo, color palette, and type system, for when you need a brand built first.

    from $2,000
  • Care plans

Hosting, monitoring, and updates, plus time each month for changes. You're never the one keeping it running.

    from $150/mo

Need more than a marketing site, like a blog, online booking, or a store? Those are custom builds. Tell me what you have in mind and we'll scope it together.

Three steps, start to finish.

No agency runaround. Just a clear path from first call to launch day, with me the whole way.

  1. 01

    Start with your story

Before any design, we get clear on who you help and why they choose you. The words come first.

  2. 02

    Design with purpose

I design and build around that story, with every section pointing someone toward reaching out.

  3. 03

    Launch with confidence

We get you live, I walk you through it, and I'm still here after launch.

A 50% deposit books your spot and gets us started, with the balance due when your site goes live. Your first three months of care are included with the build, so care billing starts in month four — monthly, in advance, and you can cancel anytime.

Questions, answered.

Do I really only need a homepage?

For most businesses that run on reputation, yes. When someone gets your name, they look you up to decide whether to call, and when someone searches for what you do, one clear, credible homepage is what they need to find. It's the fastest way to stop losing the people who are already looking. When you outgrow it, pages are easy to add.

Can I just get the strategy?

Yes. The strategy and messaging work is built into every homepage, but if that's all you want for now, you can book it on its own. I call it a Messaging Session ($1,500): one working session to get your story straight, and then I write it up as your messaging doc, a short document with the line to say first, who you're for, what's at stake for them, the plan you offer, and the words for your homepage. It's yours to use anywhere (social posts, ads, proposals), even if you build the site elsewhere. And if you come back for the homepage, the full $1,500 counts toward it, so starting small costs you nothing extra.

What if I need more pages later?

We just add them, $1,000 a page. Because your messaging and design are already built, new pages drop in fast. When you're ready, we look at your goals and the signals from your live homepage to choose the pages worth adding, so you only build what actually moves you forward.

Why is the homepage $5,000 when extra pages are $1,000?

Because the homepage carries the heavy lifting. The strategy and messaging week, the design, the technical foundation — all of it happens once, on the homepage, and every page after that inherits it. Pages are $1,000 because they build on that foundation, not because they're a fifth of the quality.

How long does it take?

The Standout Homepage takes two weeks — guaranteed. The clock starts once we've set your start date and you've sent over the photos and branding you want to use: week one is figuring out your messaging together, and week two is the build. Your side of it is feedback within 48 hours during the build, so the timeline only depends on things we each control. Additional pages, a brand identity, or a store are scoped with their own timeline, and you'll have that number before we start.

Do you handle SEO?

Part of it. Every site is built on a solid SEO foundation: clean structure, fast load, and your services and area written into the copy the way people actually search. That gets you found when someone looks up your name, and in a less crowded market it can earn you real visibility for what you do, not just who you are. Three of my clients went from page two to the top three on that foundation and regular upkeep, with no ranking campaign. To go further, I can build out more pages and content aimed at the terms your clients search. Running an ongoing ranking campaign (the kind that competes on the toughest terms month after month) is a specialty of its own, and I have a partner who does that. I'll point you to her.

Why don't you build on WordPress or Squarespace?

Because for a service business, it's the wrong trade. I build your site the way modern software is built, not on a platform with a plugin store: it's fast on a phone, there's nothing to patch or hack, and it's yours outright (any developer can work on it, not just me). You still get a simple dashboard for your words and photos. The trade-off is that new features are built, not installed, so if you want something added, you ask me. For a service business, that's rarely a limit. And if you ever need an online store, that's a different kind of site, and we'd pick the right tool for it together.

Can you write the copy?

Yes, and it's included. The messaging work is where every project starts, and I write the page from it. You're never handed a blank box to fill in.

Who actually does the work?

Me, start to finish. No account managers, no contractors, no handoffs. You talk to the person building your site.

How do payments work?

A 50% deposit books your spot and gets us started, and the balance is due when your site goes live. A Messaging Session or pages added on their own are paid up front (and if you started with a Messaging Session, the full $1,500 credits toward your homepage, so the build is $3,500 more on the same split). Every build includes your first three months of care, so care billing starts in month four — monthly, in advance, and you can cancel anytime.

What happens after launch?

You'll have editing access and a walkthrough, so small changes are yours to make, plus privacy-friendly analytics so you can see what's working. Everything underneath (hosting, security, backups, software updates, and monitoring so I know if it ever goes down) is what a care plan covers, plus time each month for the changes you'd rather hand to me. And if you'd rather run all of it yourself, you can. You own the site outright, and I'll transfer everything to your accounts.

How do I know if I need this?

Look yourself up. Pull out your phone, search your business name the way people say it, and go through the seven checks. It takes ten minutes and it's honest about the answer, including when the answer is that you're fine. If you'd rather I do it and record what I find, that's the Referral Check, and it's on the same page. Look yourself up →

Who isn't this for?

A few people. If your whole growth plan is outranking a crowded category month after month, you need an ongoing search campaign more than a new homepage, and I'll say so on the call. And if you'd rather build and edit the whole thing yourself, Squarespace is a fine choice, and I'll tell you that too. If you're a service business whose reputation does the selling and the website just needs to keep up, this is built for you.

Your website should be
working as hard as you do.

If you're tired of being embarrassed by your site, losing leads to competitors, or just not sure where to start, that's exactly what the discovery call is for. No pressure, no jargon. Just a conversation about your business (and what a better website could do for it).
