I'm Jen, and I build websites worth sending people to.
You're great at what you do, and your clients know it. But the website in the middle often doesn't say so. For six years I've helped service businesses close that gap, from my home base in Mount Dora, Florida. When you hire me, you get me: I design, write, and build your site myself, and I stick around long after it goes live.

I take it personally when good work gets overlooked.
I've seen it too many times: someone who's genuinely the best at what they do, losing a client to a competitor who's worse at the work but better at looking the part online. That's backwards, and it's the reason I do this. Your website shouldn't be why a good client picks someone else. It should be why they pick you.
I've spent years learning what makes people act.
For six years I've built websites for service businesses. Alongside that, I work as a product designer at Bloomerang, the platform thousands of nonprofits use to raise money, where my entire focus is conversion: designing the donation forms and flows that turn a visitor into a donor. Some of what I've designed there has helped increase donations by 50% or more.
That's the same skill your business needs. A donor deciding to give and a client deciding to call are really the same moment, someone on the fence, weighing whether to act. My job in both is to clear away the friction and make the next step obvious. So when I design your site, I'm not guessing at what converts. It's what I do every day, backed by real data.
It all starts with your story.
You already know your business better than anyone. Together we get what's in your head onto the page, the clearest version of who you help and why they choose you. Whether you've had it dialed in for years or never put it into words, it's a conversation, not homework.
And because we get it down on paper, it doesn't just live on your site. A lot of clients are surprised how often they reach for it afterward, in a pitch, a social post, an intro at an event. You get a website that sounds like you at your best, and words you can use everywhere else.
When I'm not at my desk, I'm probably downtown.
I live and work in Mount Dora, and I'm a little obsessed with it. You'll usually find me hunting for treasures at Renninger's, our antique market, poking around the downtown shops, or grabbing a bite somewhere local (Beirut Bites, Salted Fry, and Cody's are on repeat). At home, there's usually a guitar nearby or a book I can't put down.
Word gets around.
“Jen completely overhauled the Barrel of Books and Games website and created my campaign website as well. She continues to update and manage both sites and does an amazing job!”
“Jen is seriously the most patient, awesome, creative, fun person to work with. She listens — I told her what I wanted the vibe of my website to be and she made it happen. The finished product far exceeded my expectations. It has driven SO much business our way.”
“She is so organized, professional, knowledgeable and has excellent communication while also being down to earth, fun to work with, and so timely with projects. I highly recommend Jennifer and have already referred multiple people to her for their website needs. A++++”
Now you know me. I'd love to hear about you.
If any of this sounded like your kind of person to work with, let's talk. A short discovery call is the easiest way to see if we're a good fit, no pressure and no hard sell, just a real conversation about your business and where a better website could take it.
